2. Treatment

(2) Drug treatment: for Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection, macrolide antibacterial drugs, such as erythromycin and roxithromycin, are preferred; Levofloxacin can also be taken (not for infants and young children). Mycoplasma genitalium infections can be treated with moxifloxacin or azithromycin.
