Second, it is not the case of tuberculosis

1. Allergies: Some people may have an immune response to the vaccine after BCG injection, which will cause adverse symptoms such as local redness, swelling and pain, and will also lead to a positive PPD skin test result. It is not tuberculosis and does not require specific treatment, but it needs to be checked regularly.

2. Active tuberculosis: If it is active tuberculosis in the active stage of the disease, it may also lead to a positive PPD skin test result. At this time, anti-tuberculosis treatment can be carried out by taking rifampicin capsules, isoniazid tablets and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor.

In addition to this, it can also be caused by other reasons, such as AIDS. Therefore, when the PPD skin test result is found to be strongly positive, it is necessary to seek medical attention in time to improve the relevant examinations to rule out the occurrence of the above conditions.
